I have germinated several different seeds from peat pellets, So far tomatoes and peppers seem to still be doing well under these conditions of the pellets, but once I got swiss chard, artichoke, lavender, basil, and eggplant to germinate they grew

I recently bought some peat pots but they did not have any pre drilled holes in them. This confused me as pots that I have bought in the past had the hole where you can just punch them out, but these did not. Am I supposed to leave them as is
