Fungus Gnats are invading EVERY pot I have! I am sprouting seedlings and now they are getting into them as well! There are some really expensive Fungus Gnat products but I cant spend that much and dont want to kill the worms in my pots!

A few weeks back when I was bringing houseplants back in and rescuing other plants that I wanted to save I needed to purchase some potting mix. Seeing that I live in a small town, I had to get the only thing available which was Miracle Grow brand.

Latlet ive been seeing little black flies zig zaggin about near my plants and all over my home. I smashed a ton of them and looked at one dead one under a microscope to Identifiy it. And yes they were fungus gnats If anyone can recall a while

I have done everything except change the soil in these plants to get rid of the gnats. Granted they arent as bad as they were a few months ago, but they still exist and its annoying. They seem to favor the peace lily. This isnt an issue of over
