I noticed two of my Better Bush (pictured below) and one of my Super Steak tomatoes have black bottoms. Should I cull these or leave them? The debris seen on the leaves is just compost that I added yesterday and did a messy job in the process

 Black Krim BER??

Hello All! I suspect that this is the beginning of BER on my Black Krim but I'm not an expert like some of you. The pic is not the clearest however you can see what I'm talking about. I have about 9 fruits and 4-5 have this on the bottom.

 Varieties with beautiful blossom end scars?

I've decided that I'm particularly drawn to tomatoes with beautiful blossom end scars. From my limited experience (3 years growing), it seems like these are sort of varietal traits (correct me if I'm wrong please)? So far, White Tomesol and Rebe

I started my own Rutgers tomatoes this year. The plants look good but the green tomatoes look like there were two or three individual tomatoes that grew together into one tomato. The bottoms of the tomatoes have numerous crevices making them real

Hey guys, so my tomatoes are blooming with a bunch of flowers. I have a nice round tomato on one plant, but the rest are looking like ones in this photo. Is this a baby tomato? Or is it unpollinated? It's been like this for a week with no growth.

 Deformed Cherokee purple tomatoes

I planted two of these plants and had to pull one up due to blight. The early tomatoes were deformed on both plants. I've never seen this kind of deformity where it looks like two or more tomatoes are under the skin of the one tomato. Some normal

 Removing the stuck blossom on developing tomatoes

I know this sounds like a ridiculous question, but in order to avoid or reduce cat facing, those blossoms that stick to the developing tomatoes, sometimes in weird places on the fruit, should those be removed or left alone? I was just checking

BER is in season, judging from the number of current thread. Without getting into CAUSE, PREVENTION, WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT, let us get a survey here. Maybe we can learn from co-relation. So here we go : 1- Are you having BER problem ?
