This started growing about 3 months ago, I thought it was going to be a bloom. But it doesn't look like it is turning into a bud, and now it looks like it has roots growing off of it. What is it? If it is a bloom, should I be ferrtilizing it?

I know the chances are small, but just in case this is some common epiphyllum, I thought I'd ask. It bloomed a month ago, and is forming a second flush of buds now. It opens at night, around 9. It's not all that fragrant. And the flowers were smal
