I have never used urine in compost before, but I need a Nitrogen source. I read that human urine is NPK around 18-2-5 which sounds like rocket fuel for composting (super concentrated green matter). I tried to search the archives, but spent hours

I can't see what the chemicals are other than the scent and wonder if it would be a danger to the soil in a compost bin. I have 7 cats so there is lots of it in the winter. In the good weather the outdoors is their bathroom. Follow-Up

I have two rabbits and a guinea pig (house pets) which produce a lot of waste. I am a new composter and am wary of using the litter box waste, as rabbit urine has A LOT of ammonia in it. From reading on this site, it appears that ammonia is fine
